Gallivant in Ghana – Newest scent, Accra, is a nod to Timbuktu

Impartial fragrance model, Gallivant, is to launch Accra – the newest scent of their assortment impressed by the feelings of journey and wanderlust.

Glamorous Ghanaians gallivanting in London. Parisian Ivoirians of their voluptuous pagne attire. My wanderlust thoughts was stuffed with the larger-than-life fashion, the richness of West Africa. The alluringly iconic designs of Air Afrique. Artwork and sculpture. The Timbuktu perfume we had in my time at L’Artisan Parfumeur – a gateway fragrance to area of interest.

So with this journey to Accra, I wished to evoke a bygone glamour, the tropical sensuality, an enveloping warmth … A style of the unique, the musicality, the attractive bursting colors of the well-known kente waxed fabric. I wished to really feel the easy-going allure of Accra, a happy-go-lucky lightness of being…

The perfume was composed for Gallivant, by Stéphanie Bakouche and accommodates prime notes of ardour berry, eucalyptus, scorching peppers, mango, papaya, davana, cognac, and carrot seed; a coronary heart of CO2 espresso extract, saffron, a cocoa accord, tobacco, and styrax; with dry down of leather-based pores and skin accord, cedarwood, patchouli, classic vinyl, smoky liatrix, and musks.
