Swiss antitrust authorities are investigating 4 main perfume firms for suspected collusion. The quartet contains Switzerland’s Firmenich and Givaudan, US-based Worldwide Flavors & Fragrances (IFF), and Germany’s Symrise. The 4 firms between them are chargeable for round half of all fragrances available on the market.
The Swiss Competitors Fee (COMCO) has indicated that there are considerations about a number of firms within the perfume manufacturing sector violating cartel legal guidelines.
